Recruitment & Training

In recruiting our personnel, we place great emphasis on selecting people with a proven record in their trade as well as their interpersonal, organizational and communications skills.

Where this is not possible we work together with the local communities to instigate adapted formal training programs.

Throughout the course of their employment all employees are required to attend training sessions. These sessions provide our employees with the necessary additional skills and knowledge to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities.

Ongoing training provides PNG nationals with the skills and knowledge that enables them to be promoted to positions of responsibility and authority and continued personal improvement teach them a job for the future.

We offer a variety of programs from Numeracy and Literacy courses to advanced management.

We also provide continuous OTJ training to all our personnel irrespective of their level of education or competencies in order to maintain the highest levels of qualifications and service.
