The Alliance Group engages the recognised local landowners in an operating entity with ownership ultimately passing to the landowners. In addition to direct involvement with the camp operations and catering, the operating entity engages local business in a number of key initiatives including:
- Agriculture – Formation of co-operatives to grow, harvest and supply fresh fruit and vegetables
- Aquaculture – investigating the potential for introduction of fish farming
- Direct Employment – through the engagement of a maximum number of local people
- Long Term sustainability – the operating entity will undertake training skills and business development
Ensuring that the local people receive the training and skill development, creating a greater level of quality and commitment in the workforce including business opportunities and creating sustainability for the local communities is a priority for The Alliance Group.
